Access to WMP Pension Portal - Issues with Particular Internet Browsers and Overseas IP Addresses

West Midlands Police Pensions Department are aware that many pensioner members are having difficulty accessing the Member Self Service Portal.

The web browser 'Internet Explorer' is no longer supported by Microsoft, and it seems its continued use by some members is causing problems whilst accessing the pension portal. Members are therefore encouraged to use one of the following browsers:-

Microsoft Edge

Google Chrome



If you need to contact WMP for assistance in accessing the portal, before telephoning, please check which browser you are using and note the version number. This information will help WMP respond more effectively to your particular issue. 

For security reasons, WMP has decided that Members who live outside the UK and have an overseas IP address will NOT be able to access the online portal. This is to protect WMP from potential cyber attacks. Overseas members who previously signed up to the portal will now be reverted to paper payslips and P60s.
