Air Ambulance Help Appeal - Volunteers Required
I hope you don’t mind me getting in touch. I was wondering whether you might kindly help us by sharing a small volunteering appeal with members of the Birmingham NARPO group.
We are currently looking for trustworthy volunteer drivers in the Birmingham area to help us collect our HELP Appeal charity boxes from local shops and bring them back to our office (near Spaghetti Junction). The boxes usually need emptying every few months, so it’s a very flexible role.
We already work with several former police volunteers in other counties, and it has been an absolute pleasure — their reliability and community spirit are invaluable to us. We would be incredibly grateful if any of your members might be interested in supporting us in a similar way.
We provide mileage expenses at 45p per mile, along with formal and hands-on training and ongoing support.
